Entry # 1

What is the major theme of this novel?

The major theme of Animal Farm is greed. In Animal Farm, the Pigs' goal was to rout Mr. Jones in making a better farm; such as, no laboring, more free time, and equality between animals. But, as time went on the Pigs became greedier and greedier. At the end of the story, the Pigs became like Mr. Jones. They walked on their hind legs, drank wine, and talked with the people who they had battled with at the beginning of the story.
